The hotel is newly opened. Unfortunally it is measured. It is almost impossible to reach the entrance by car. Not even the GPS could find it. And the traffic solutions of Charleroi are unbelievable. But you can’t blaim the hotel for that. But we were badly instructed how to find the garage, so we first parked in the wrong garage. And to find the garage from the hotel entrance...Jesus...
We didn’t get the room we had booked. We booked a superior room with desk, sofa and refrigerator. There were neither a sofa or desk and the refrigerator didn’t work. When we complained we got another room, maybe two or three squaremeters bigger, but no sofa or desk. As we understood the furniture hadn’t arrived yet. The room also lacked hangers for outerwear, a mirror and somewhere to put the suitcase.
The key cards didn’t work in the lifts, so for a while I was stranded in the bar. But I got a beer for compensation. The staff was very friendly an understanding. Later in the evening we got a good dinner in the restaurant, but strange enough the bar did not have brandy or cognac.
