Four of us were going by car from the UK to eastern France and chose this as our stop for the night. The lobby is on the 1st floor, and the entrance is on 0. The automatic doors have to be opened on level 0 by using the escape switch. So anytime we needed to gather items from the car, we had to wait until the single staff member could go from his post on floor 1 all the way to 0 using the elevator - which is a very long distance.
Check in was very courteous and easy. We travelled with two dogs, and they were no problem. As we did arrive late in the evening, there appeared to be no food. The gentleman helping us tried very hard to find us food inside the hotel or surrounding it, but he was unsuccessful. Ultimately, we ended up just waiting until the next morning.
Room: Very clean. Very modern. I was a little disappointed that we booked a double queen room and the second bed was a futon, especially since we had four adults. The hotel was very slow that day, so I think they could have put us into a nicer room with a real bed.
Parking is difficult after hours. Be cautious about that. We parked on the street not knowing the fate of our car the next morning - but it was there, with no parking tickets.More
