Good selection with a nice tapas selection available. Great if you just was a quick snack with a drink. Service is also very good and setting exquisite.

Overall a nice experience, great beer and wine menu, a few Belgian dishes, attentive staff; however this all comes at a price. Go there for the atmosphere and less for the food.

Hotel Metropole is grand. You can imagine yourself back in time while drinking or eating there. You just should at least visit the place.

I have drank quite many beers at the terrace. But for some reason have not eaten in the place before. I will definetely eat there again. Shortly, service was pretty fast, friendly and helpful. Food was good, even great and the price was not that grand at all (group of five just under 400 euros incl wines, starters and mains plus coffees with drinks).

I took beef carpaccio as a starter. Portion was big and the taste was well balanced. Really enjoyed that. As a main I chose entrecote which was actually one the best for a while. So my experience was that you can get good, uncomplicated food there.

Never ate there but the place has style. Perfect for a quiet place. Go inside the building to have a look at the reception desk of the hotel.

We nipped in here for a quick coffee and it was straight out of the early Victorian era. The surroundings were grand and wouldn't have looked out of place if hercule poirot (Excuse the spelling) was sat there drinking tea.

The coffee wasn't anything different from any other coffee but the surroundings that you have it make it feel decadent.
