I came to Antwerp from Manchester for a long and exhausting day of continuous business meetings. There is no better way to finish off such a day than with an excellent meal at Hoffys. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They treat you as if you are a guest in their own homes. There is so much variety of food to choose from, served fast and by a waiter with a smile. What a pleasant way to end the day!!

Visit this place. It is incredible. There is a great selection of truly wonderful dishes. Try the soup. I had it today;). It was a type of culinary experience that feeds not only your stomach but your soul. Thank you very much Benjamin!

An amazing restaurant, serving traditional Jewish dishes. Since I have been raised in a Jewish household the food is not foreign for me, but such deliciousness is not easy to achieve. Gefilte fish was moist, chrain fresh and juicy, and chicken soup just the way it should be.
I loved the blend of different strains of Jewish cuisine, Western and Eastern - the appetitizers (served on the house) were harissa, chrain and pickled cucumbers, I loved the way the food was served, but most of all I loved the atmosphere. The hosts speak Yiddish, English, French, Hebrew, the diners consisted of religious Jews, secular people like me, Israelis, tourists - and everyone is welcome. It has a very homey feeling indeed.

My husband and I travelled from London to Hoffy’s on the occasion of our wedding anniversary and we were so impressed by the friendliness of the owners , the service by the waiters, the variety of foods on the menu , the plentifulness and most importantly the taste was on point. Everything was delicious!!! They offer meaty, fish or vegan main courses and the salads were fresh and tasty!

Hoffy's is owned by 3 delightful brothers who all work on the premises. The traditional food is Jewish, true, and Kosher, but the night we were there a non-Jewish family (they told me) had driven 30 miles to celebrate a birthday at Hoffy's! It's so relaxed. My only problem is that you stand in front of the case and tell the person behind the counter what you want and it's way too easy to order too much. The serving guys are as nice as the owners and our guy insisted we start with chicken soup with matzoh balls. Oh, yes. In all candor we returned for a second night (!) so have tasted the beef, chicken, baked salmon, stuffed eggplant, asparagus, several kinds of salad including eggplant; chopped onions/tomatoes/cucumbers; green salad; as well as little potatoes. And more. The pastries are the only thing they bring in, and they are excellent. The little sacher torte. Sigh. Hoffy's: HIGHLY recommend!
