I just can’t find the right words to describe how amazing this place is. We visited today with my husband and a friend of us from Italy and we were more than satisfied. The food is fresh and delicious, just like my Yiddish mother’s ( or maybe even better, but don’t tell it to her! ) and the staff is friendly and warm. Our Italian friend was also very happy with the food and everyone knows that Italians are very picky when it comes to food! The kitchen is real Mitteleuropean with a touch of Israel in it. You don’t have to travel anymore to Budapest to have an amazing culinary experience. Definitely worth the travel from Rotterdam. We will be back soon! Thank you for everything!

My wife and I ate at Hoffy's yesterday evening: we dropped by earlier in the day to see what would be on offer. The owners took their time and made us feel very welcome. The food looked fantastic.
Sure enough, we arrived and were greeted: we took one vegetarian selection and a selection including meat. Every dish was explained to us and it was some of the best food we have ever eaten. We will be going back - it's worth the drive from Rotterdam!
The atmosphere is excellent - friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is spotless.

We were in Antwerp for 4 days and went to Hoffys for 3 of our meals. We were so impressed on our first visit that we chose to go back 2 more times. The food was plentiful and delicious, well-displayed behind the counter, and everything had a fresh, homemade taste. This place attracts Jews and non-Jews alike for it's authentic Jewish food and it's array of mouth-watering choices. We would definitely go back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good, homemade, filling meal
