Was invited to go along fora dinner here, and good thing i did not have to pay here
Too expensive for what you get
They claim to enjoy tastes and quality of Italy, but not certain if the chef has been there or understands how the Italians coock
On very simple dishes they seem to be able to forget basic seasoning and spicing
Dishes are just missing flavour, even on basic simple ones that i can make better at home
For me i will not bother going there again, especially on those prices that you expect to see with higher quality restaurants in major cities, not in small towns

Thank Dirk d

Entered the first time by accident, second time on purpose :-). First time we ordered a la carte, good quality of food, nice wine. The restaurant is a typical Italian family restaurant. Second time we took the menu witch is price/quality good.

This restaurant is family-run and the service is great. The food is good but not really Italian. I had the minestrone and, though it was tasty, it wasn't really minestrone. The grilled red tuna I had next was excellent and everybody in my party enjoyed their main courses. We were offered a free bottle of wine because service was slow due to an “accident” in the kitchen. All in all a pleasurable experience though a little pricey for what you get.

(At this point the picture above is not of this restaurant! Please remove.)

This is our favorite restaurant of all. Very cosy atmosphere with a classical decor, good music (soft jazz etc.). It's run by a lovely family. The pater familias is an exuberant multilingual Italian with a big moustache, exactly how it should be. We keep getting back there.

The food is fantastic. The beef fillet (ossenhaas) for example is better than in every other place where we ordered the same. It has that smokey touch. When Pata Negra (a kind of pork) is available it is a rare delight. The pasta that accompanies some dishes is perfect - just al dente. So are the vegetables. Some deserts are amazing: the Panacotta and the Sabayone to name just these. I just found that the French fries recipe has changed over time and they're not as special and slender and crunchy as they used to be.

Last but not least, the bill is very reasonable considering the quality and the atmosphere.
