We stayed for one night at this hotel as it was close by to a Hotel School where we attended an event. We were checked in straight away, but given a card that didn't work when we tried to use the elevator. The card hadn't been activated, so reception changed the card.

The room was a little shabby - scuff marks on the walls and a stain on the floor. Also, the only lighting was 2 side lights by the bed, no ceiling light, so it was very dark. The wall above the bed was decorated with districts of New York. I found this very strange as we were staying in Rotterdam, not New York. Why not place names of The Netherlands or districts of Rotterdam?

In the bathroom, the shower had a really poor pressure, so it was quite time consuming to have a shower and also the shower screen door didn't close fully, so I had to be careful not to get the bathroom floor wet.

Our room (217) faced the front, so we heard all the trams and the traffic. Maybe some money could be spent on better windows to exclude the noise.

The heating also didn't work in the evening, but in the morning it kicked in, but all you heard was fluid filling the radiator, therefore quite noisy.

We didn't have breakfast here as €15 per person seemed quite expensive. We did have drinks in the hotel bar after our event, it was very 'gezellig' with our friends and good bar prices.

Very good location. Walking distance to the centre and to the central station.
Very nice room with a very confortable bed
Wifi inside the room wasn't too great
The water from the shower sometimes was too hot and sometimes too cold but wasn't a big problem

Location is perfect but other than that nothing special.
The clerk at the front desk did not seem too interested in doing his job. We do not expect to be welcomed as the king but we do expect professional service.
When entering the room there was an odour in the room. It smelt like a gym locker room as if someone had left their old socks there. We had to open the window to get the smell out and left the window open all night. The room itself though had everything we needed. The bed however was not to my liking but that is my personal opinion and can differ from other guests. Breakfast was fine, enough to choose from. The lady in the restaurant was very nice! Checkout went very smooth.

Hotel is nice enough, staff are very nice and helpful as you would expect from a European hotel.
We did feel we had been stuck in a little dark room at the back of the hotel, that had been forgotten about. Although there was a kettle there was no cups or coffee etc. The cleaner hadn't spotted the cock had stopped working, the people in the room had bagged the smoke alarm and had obviously been puffing away through their stay. They also missed the toilet was leaking. To be fair when we mentioned these the staff arranged for maintenance and when the toliet hadn't been fixed moved us to a different room. Which was bigger and lighter.
Breakfast was a buffet with lots of choice.
It is situated right by a tram stop so getting about was very simple. It's about 25min walk down to the Erasmus's bridge.

Stayed here for one night, hotel is 5 minutes walk from the central station, check in was quick and efficient, staff are very friendly and helpful. Stayed in a twin room very spacious, even had a large desk! Mounted TV and tea and coffee making facilities along with free wi-fi, bathroom had bath and shower. Buffet breakfast plenty of choice hot and cold. Within walking distance of many restaurants and bars. Tram stop 2 minutes walk away. Would stay again and can recommend.
