My better half and her friends booked this place without going into the details. They were definitely looking for a budget hotel, since it was a short stay, hence never bothered to see where it is located. I was guilty of trusting them despite being the travel junkie in the group.
We actually checked in to the Ibis at the city centre only to be told that we don't have a booking there but at their new property close to the Rotterdam The Hague airport.
It took us 25 minutes (and 55 euros) to reach this property, and the disappointment increased when we were told about the lack of food options. Besides, the bathroom couldn't be locked from inside.
However, the cordial and affable staff soon made us comfortable. Our room was changed on request and the staff was helpful in every way possible.
The staff told us it was a new property, one that even Google Maps hadn't included yet.
The Wings hotel nearby offered the restaurant (and sports bar) option, and the night was well spent.
What could have been a disappointing stay was in fact a memorable experience in the final analysis thanks to the well-behaved staff. Would have rated this three but am giving one more for the polite staff.More
