We only visited to climb the tower. Well worth doing to get a long long view of this area... right to Rotterdam and Den Hague. Not for the faint hearted or those with vertigo as lots of narrow steps and hair raising drops (all safely fenced, of course). Clock workings interesting as well.

Don't miss this church and the old church! The history with the audio is well worth it. Believe the Museumkaart works in these 2 churches and it was free with the card.

Church not only has a lot of info in English, it has Impressive (for an ancient church!) multimedia presentations on screens and tv footage of the royal funerals to give you a feel for how this church fits into the Dutch way of life. This where all the royals are buried including the Prince of Orange. It was a cloudy day so we did not go to the top of the tower for the mega-view. Excellent job of making history go down with a spoonful of sugar.

For me this is the best church that I visited in Netherlands. Expansive structure, sculptures, Gothics and presentation of information make this tourist friendly compared to other churches that we visited. Tomb of william of orange is the most unique piece of art to see in this church. Comparatively there is lot of effort to provide information using interactive multi media.

This is a magnificent old Dutch Reform Church built between 1383 and 1510. The tower was built between 1396 and 1496. This according to the plaque next to the front door. Located right on the square it really stands out. The day we were there the door was locked so we could not go inside. It is an amazing structure.
