Description: The Restaurant De Kersentuin has undergone a complete renovation and is now open once again. With a famous history which spans more than 30 years, the restaurant has now moved in an exciting and innovative new direction. The kitchen is in the capable hands of two-starred Michelin chef Stefan van Sprang. Stefan's motto is high-level casual dining with a healthy serving of flair. Among other culinary delights, his menu includes simplified versions of several signature dishes from Aan de Poel.

Was here twice , short after each other. Enjoyed the food from chef Stefan van Sprang very much. (Wessel Ruijmgaart is the daly leading chef)
Had both times the chef's favorite menu (4 courses a 55 euro). Very modern and tasty dishes. Wine list good and the "man in black" gave a perfect service (mostly women) . Another good thing is enough parking space in front of the restaurant and a cozy bar. (its a hotel as well)

Very unusual, but we really enjoyed our dining experience. Service was excellent and so was the food!

Fine dining is not for everyone and I was very disappointed with the whole experience as there was no traditional food on the menu and for an hotel catering for international guests this is bad.

Food was delicious, beautifully prepared and presented. Staff was professional, polite and friendly. Expensive restaurant but worth the money.

I guess I had no idea this was a modern Japanese style restaurant. I thought it was a tapas. Food was beautifully prepared and service was very nice. Sure was hungry come morning. My guess is it was very good but not my style so not sure. Best was pest dessert.
