I was in Amsterdam for a short business trip. I was impressed: central location, nice design, very clean, good breakfast and great price. The hotel is in a renovated Amsterdam historical houses. Located 2 minutes walk from central station.

Room tip: If you are looking for calm, don't get a room with street view

Room is reasonable size and very clean. Lots of ethnic restaurants close by as well as a large supermarket with excellent baked goods just at the end of the block. Tram 4 takes you to town centre as well as the train station for easy access to the airport .
Breakfast is adequate. Service from the front desk and dining room is exceptional.

Room tip: we did end up with one with no abilities to change because it wasthe Kings Day week. The traffic noise was negligible.

The location of the hotel is close to the Tram stations and hence we had no hassles in transportation. Tram 4 can be used.

There is an Indian restaurant close by as well as Albery Heijn supermarket. Breakfast is ok and had good sleep.

Room tip: We had a room with the balcony and had a view to The Netherlands Bank and Canal. Room number 105.

My husband stayed here during our visit to Amsterdam. The location could not be better! It's on a canal, there's a grocery store next door, the trolley (4) to Central Station is half a block away, and you're within walking distance to many other places!

Our room was a decent size. It had a desk and desk chair, side chair, armoire with safe, flat screen TV, twin beds pushed together with side night stands, a window that opened on an angle, nice shower, and tulip decor.

The lobby had seating, a vending machine that included cans of Heineken, and a nice breakfast area. Breakfast consisted of fresh and canned fruits, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, pastries, breads, cereals, hard boiled eggs, juices, coffee, milk, poached eggs, waffles, etc.

Our room had a canal view on the front of the third floor.

Saad was especially helpful as he checked us in and provided additional information we needed. It did take a day or two to get an extra pillow because the extra one in our room was missing (the plastic bag in the armoire was empty). I had to ask reception for new TV remote batteries, when the remote wouldn't work.

We would stay here again - good value!

There is free wi-fi in the hotel.

We didn't need a taxi when we left and had to get to Central Station for the train back to Paris because the 4 trolley is so close. Central Station was only about 5 stops away and at 2.90 euros each, it was a bargain.

Room tip: Ask for a canal front room
