“Great concert venue”

Great concert venue located next to the Ajax football stadium, easy to get to via tram/metro from Amsterdam city centre (Metro stops running at 11:45pm).

The queues go quickly, has plenty of bars inside as well as a couple just outside. food bars inside are good and sell a good variety not just the usual burger or hot dog. All purchases are made via tokens which are bought from machines inside the venue. A pint of beer is 1.5 tokens, if you go as a group its cheaper to bulk buy tokens and share them between you.

The concert hall is a decent size (17,000 capacity), although some blocks are not used because of restricted views.

Seating is on two levels, with the top tier being quite steep.

Good venue, would go again

Went here with partner to see Depeche Mode in concert.
The layout of this place is excellent and so were the staff too. The Dutch do things right! Even catching tram to this place was too easy. The acoustics of this venue were amazing compared to the same concert we saw a month or so before at the Birmingham arena.
The thing which let this place down though was the fact you had to buy tokens from a machine to then exchange for drinks at the bar.
Totally stupid in that respect.
So we went without.
Still, a awesome night!

I have been to the Ziggo dome many times. Usually it does not take long to get in. Drinks are a bit expensive, as aspected. Sound is awesome. Staff is friendly.

This is an outstanding concert hall. The best op singers and bands from all over the world perform hear. Accousics are fabtastic. I will never attend a concert anymore in a sports stadiom. Ample of nearby bars and restaurants. Acccesible by train and metro, Enough parjing spaces.

I went there 2 nights in a row to Don't Let Daddy Know EDM music concert.

The check-in was rather smooth with no long queues outside as there were quite a few people working so there were a few queues formed (which was very nice as it was freezing outside and you have to queue outside).

The place itself is huge, and they have lockers (big enough for 2 coats and small bags) for 2eur or cloakroom for free. The toilet facilities are large and there was never a queue even for ladies! Very pleased with that. Lots of space to hang out outside the arena, to sit down, drink and eat.

The event was great, great music and sound and visual effects.

I also loved that they were selling fresh fruit and smoothies! For those who don't drink or want a healthy option at the end of the night is perfect.

The only downside was that you can only pay with tokens. You buy them off a machine and use them to pay for drinks and food. Things are priced that way that I always ended up with a half a token meaning I had to buy another batch of tokens to be able to use that one or half a token. You end up spending quite a bit of money. Also, they put very little alcohol in drinks that way you end up buying more, so be aware of that.
