This is our second stay at Camping Zeeburg in the eco cabins. Our last stay was in November and this time the camp site was considerably more buzzing. Cabin was clean and suitable for a couple of nights. Toilets and showers were clean, although in busy times you may have to queue. Convenient bike rental or nearby tram stop into Amsterdam centre. The walk into the centre isn't too bad if you want to kill some time. Surprisingly quiet in the cabin area even though it was a busy time of year. Good atmosphere in the summer, lots of young people and a few families. We will be staying here again when we next visit Amsterdam as it is a cheap place if you aren't looking for 5* luxury.

I stayed on the campsite for 6 nights and had a great experience continuously from the moment i arrived, all of the facilities on site met and excelled my expectations.

The reception has a shop that sells everything you would need and you can also charge your phone. The toilets, showers and washrooms are very good and you can also BBQ and prepare food in the main communal area, on top of that they also have a large free swimming pool.

All of the staff during my stay were very friendly and extremely helpful with anything I asked of them and the general atmosphere of the camp was very relaxed.

Travelling to Amsterdam Centre via tram takes about 20 minutes and is very easy as there is a tram stop straight outside the campsite gates and they run very regular.
If you are planning on staying out late there is a night bus that runs all hours, 5-10 minute walk back to camp.

Great stay - Great staff - very inexpensive.

We camped in one of the fields for six nights in July. The staff were very polite and helpful upon check-in and seemed very friendly even though we arrived five minutes before reception closing. The fields were quite crowded and there was a lot of litter around, but with so many people I know this must be difficult to maintain.
The campground itself had great facilities and places to lounge around. The bar/restaurant is very good and has super friendly staff that are up for a chat. The terrace is a really nice place to sit in either the sun or the rain! The communal kitchen is a great idea and it's fabulous to have the facility there if - like us- your camping gas runs out. The only issue is that sometimes people were lingering around in there to hide from the rain or use the work-surfaces for rolling joints. Make sure you wipe them before placing anything down.

The only other issues were caused more by other campers. You get only a six minute time period for the shower (which is really great environmentally and for keeping queues going) and then it takes four minutes to 'recharge' for the next person. However there were people (in the women's anyway) that would take the six minutes, wait for four until it 'recharges' and then take another six minutes. Because of this, queues were getting quite long.

Aside from that, a great place, especially for young people. If you don't mind being close to others and a little bit of dirt and litter, it's perfectly fine and by far one of the most economical options for staying in Amsterdam.

I spent two nights here on my trip to Amsterdam. Basically its camping in style.
I had a small room with two beds, wifi and aircon. There are no toilets in the room.
Beds were comfy and the wifi worked fine. Onsite toilets and showers were clean and apart from two blocked toilets were all working fine.
Fresh coffee and pastries in the morning for breakfast were excellent. Pints were nice and cold too.
Tram is ten minutes walk away from the campsite. Great place if you just want somewhere to put your head down after a long day. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: Book the cabins. Its very basic but clean and secure.
