This Radisson has an impressive lobby with a conservatory feel- high glass roof with lots of light. The way to our executive room was a bit circuitous but fun nonetheless. The rooms were clean with my favourite amenities and a nespresso machine to the contentment of my partner who is a nespresso freak :-). The breakfast buffet had a limited spread but was filling. Needs to be a larger breakfast rooms d it felt too cramped and very often people had to queue up just to get a table. This could be better managed. Front desk staff was courteous. The hotel is located perfectly within walk of almost all
major places in Amsterdam!

Hotel was nice for our one night stay. A 10 minute walk from the main hustle and bustle of Amsterdam but quiet enough at night. i would say the reception could be doing with a bit of a clean where the sign is but thats just from first impression. room was clean and comfy bed.

Room Tip: a river view would be better, we were looking on to a back street

The hotel could not be better located if you want night-life, the canals and the downtown experience.

After spending all most two weeks in Romania in the countryside, we decided to reward ourselves with a nice suite at the Raddison Blu. They have a limited number of suites, and we were unable to get your upgrade to a suite our first night. We stayed in a business class room that was adequate by European standards, smaller than a typical US room at this pricepoint. The room was well furnished, very quiet and had all the necessary amenities. Upon the upgrade to the Ruyschen Suite we were pleasantly surprised.

The room was spacious, provide upgraded amenities and had splendid views on the corner of two major streets and a canal. The hotel is a bit awkward in its design. One-half of the hotel is on the other side of the street and you have to go underground and across to get to your room if on the other side.

The hotel has a nice seafood restaurant and a gift shop in the lobby. Most of the staff speaks fluent English and are quite accommodating. The hotel needs to work out some of its issues with check-in and having room readied for guest. Lots of ugly American" tourist in the lobby demanding a room before check-in time. This is the first time it was clear and evident how pushy American can be. Our ethnocentricities reared their ugly head in this instance. Despite rude and demanding the guests the hotel did a formidable job in the process.

Lovely hotel , excellent facilities in a central location , We choose to upgrade our room on check in . Room fantastic clean comfortable with tea and coffee facilities. Very helpful staff. Food at hotel was fantastic full continental breakfast lots of choice hot or cold . Evening food was great and room service. Tram tickets could be purchased from reception . Everything you need in a walking distance plenty of eating choices near by and tourist attractions . Perfect location if you want to visit the red light district without staying right in it. The tram ticket is a great idea for visiting museums or the henikien experience.
