Spend 3 nights in a Queen Executive room over the weekend. Great location next to the Central station and walking distance to most sights. View over the canal area from the 9th floor was excellent, the room was clean and modern and despite being skeptical about the Apple computer in place of a TV, it was actually very useful and convenient.

Breakfast was served in the executive lounge. The selection was not huge but everything was of high quality, especially the huge made-to-order omelettes. There were also canapes and snacks served in the executive lounge 6-8pm but with so much to do and see in Amsterdam, we were not able to make it the first 2 nights, but did on the last night. Unfortunately, what should be a pleasant experience is let down by the other clientele. People taking entire serving dishes back to their tables as soon as they are placed out, all a bit "last helicopter out of Saigon" for my liking, but you can't blame the hotel for the lack of manners of other people.

All in all, no real complaints and would stay there again whenever I pass through Amsterdam.

Room Tip: Definitely worth upgrading to an executive room for the view and breakfast.

We stayed the last of July for 2 nights before setting sail on a cruise. We arrived early on Friday and were able to check in immediately. The staff was excellent. A piece of our luggage had been left in the USA but was to be delivered the next day. The staff followed up for us and the luggage was delivered to our room that afternoon. They were so helpful and also offered to charge my cell phone for me. The room was very clean and enough room for the 2 of us. Loved the warm cookie also. Right now we have another trip planned for next summer and if it takes us to Amsterdam again, we will definitely stay here. The location is great for getting around the town.

We booked this hotel in part because it was used by our Cruise ship operators. However it proved to be good value for money and was close to a large range of good quality restaurants within easy walking distance. It was also close to central station and the tram system, which enabled us to get around quickly, cheaply and safely.

Visited with my wife in August 2017. The hotels has great location, walking distance to the grand centraal station, the red light district and many other tourist attractions.

The executive lodge breakfast was very good providing an assortment of pastries, cheeses, eggs, drinks (even champagne).

Our room was very small and the queen size bed seem to feel smaller then a typical queen, but the room did have a really nice view of the city.

We stayed in Amsterdam for 3 nights at this hotel and would recommend to all! We had arrived after a 23 hour in total flight and were greeted by friendly staff members and handed freshly warmed chocolate cookies which topped it off!! The rooms were clean, and comfy and just what we needed after a huge flight. The hotel gym was great, and the service was amazing. To stay here is a must!
