Benjamin who runs the B&B is very nice. He gave very clear direction and information on the city while he also helped us a lot in and out of his office. I really appreciate that a lot.

The room (as stated in their website) is really one with a view---with a really beautiful view overlooking the Amstel, I'd say. I saw the sun rise from my room one morning and it is stunningly beautiful.

The location is in a quiet neighbourhood of residential area (which I like it very much from the busy/touristy city centre). The Albert Cuyp Market is nearby and the big supermarket (Albert Heijn) is also within 10 minutes walking time. The nearby tram station can almost lead you to anywhere in the city.

While all the city maps are charged at a fee (at the train station and at the tourist center), Benjamin will give you a free and useful map at your arrival.

Breakfast is not included, but there is a kitchen for use. The kitchen is compact (though it needs to be clean/tidy up a bit). But with the microwave oven, the fridge and the electric stove, you can do anything there. (There are table and chairs in the room, so you can enjoy your meals in your room with a nice river view!)

There are free WIFI in the room too. Think twice about what you gonna pack as there are steep stairs in the building (but Ben is nice enough to give a hand!).

I'll go back there if I come to Amsterdam again!

We had a comfortable 1-night stay in Amstel Riverview. Benjamin, the host was very friendly and informative on good places to visit in Amsterdam. Staircase leading to the room is very steep though.

It was my first time to travel in Amsterdam and it was great. I stayed in Amstelriverview, because of the beautiful view on the Amstel river. It was relaxing, covienent and affordble.

The rooms were inviting and cosy. It is fully furnish and clean and the beds are comfortable to sleep on. Futher more, the guesthouse is well equiped, eventhough, some facilities like the kitchen are shared. I like it, because of this I met nice people while staying in Amstelriverview.

I truly recommend Amstelriverview for its warm and welcoming accomodation.
