“I am in LOVE with this place; can't wait to go back!!!”
Reviewed 1 June 2017 for a stay in April 2017

So LOVED this fantastic 2 bedroom/1.5 bath penthouse apartment/flat during our visit!!!! Too many special features to describe them all!! The flat was designed by an architect for his own use. Huge windows open to the outside and let both light and air into the space (though when you want to sleep, you have black out curtains). The open floor plan makes this an incredibly welcoming and comfortable space. The views are truly amazing and you really can't beat the location; this place is a short walk to everything you would want (all the major sites, restaurants, grocery stores etc....) and the tram is also close for further jaunts. The full bathroom can't be beat; it has both a soaking tub and a separate shower. I personally love a great bath after a long day of sightseeing. Great kitchen with a dishwasher. The ONLY caveat is that for people with limited mobility, the flat is a three story walk up and you need to be able to handle a spiral staircase if you want to get to the rooftop access. So this is not a place for people who can't handle stairs. But IF you can - this is a TRULY special place. We can't wait to go back. Honestly, if we didn't like the owners so much (working with them was a TOTAL delight!) we wouldn't share this much information about this place, because we want it to be available when we are ready to go back.

“Amazing Amsterdam Penthouse Rental”
Reviewed 23 May 2017 for a stay in June 2016

In June 2016, my husband and I rented this penthouse for a week and had one of the most memorable experiences. For starters, the place is gorgeous, well kept and had wide open views of the canal and rear gardens. It was comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed, plus some including great art to look at and beautiful views from the roof deck. The owners have great style!

Everything was at our fingertips including great restaurants, bars a block a way, a grocery store and museums. Overall, a great location. If we ever went back to Amsterdam, we would hands down want to stay here again. Booking went smoothly and the owners were fantastic. We would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Amsterdam!!

“Location, location, location!”
Reviewed 22 May 2017 for a stay in March 2017

Accommodations comfortable, well appointed, with spectacular canal & garden views. Centrally located within walking distance to shopping, bars, restaurants, museums and the must see Anne Frank House and Rembrandt Square. Location results in the sought after, hassle free, enjoyable experience. Thanks to the owners, Mr. Keeny and Mr. Young, booking was very easy. We will not hesitate to recommend your pent house to our family and friends. Thanks for a memorable visit to your fascinating city. We look forward to a return visit.

“Just gorgeous!”
Reviewed 21 May 2017 for a stay in August 2016

I’ve stayed at this penthouse twice, once by myself and once with my partner and another couple. Getting into the unit was easy and the owners were very responsive.
Let’s start with the location. It’s positioned in a great neighborhood within walking distance of the Rijksmuseum and the Royal Palace. There is a huge shopping mall (I can’t remember the name) with a luxury grocery store also within asking distance. The most unique thing about the location is that it faces 3 canals. The living room has a huge picture window with gorgeous views of the street and canal. The back windows face a beautifully landscaped garden.
The property itself has an airy open plan enhanced by the sunlight streaming in from the front and back windows. The décor is modern, but cozy with seating arrangements that make you just want to sit and talk with friends well into the night. The best feature is of course the private roof-top patio. Depending on when you’re here, you can enjoy daylight in the summer sometimes until 9 PM. And no mosquitoes like my hometown, Washington, DC!
You can tell the owners love to entertain because they’ve thought of everything. All you have to do is bring your luggage and you’re set. I’ve recommended this place to other friends who loved it just as much as I did.

Thank you for being such a great guest! The apartment actually overlooks the Herengracht, with views of the Amstel River.
You were lucky to have visited in a year that we didn't have many mosquitoes....being on the canal, summers are not always so mozzie-free. In the summer, I always recommend guests bring their favorite mosquito repellant.

“No hassle rental & didn't want to leave!”
Reviewed 20 May 2017 for a stay in September 2016

I decided to write this review because I fantasized about owning this penthouse, from the first time I walked through the door! I was delighted to find things just as they were described. The owners were incredibly easy to deal with. I have some friends in different cities close to Amsterdam and was looking forward to having them over for dinner. The dining room table was perfect, with more chairs then I needed. The kitchen had everything I was used to, even the dishwasher. Very functional. The grocery store, liquor store, open air markets were all walking distance and delightful!. My friends were pretty impressed with the balcony in the back that shows off the beautiful neighborhood & the rooftop view!
The living room/entertainment area is very comfortable and although the weather was fine, I had to try out the little fireplace for some added ambience! Loved the upbeat, modern decor and the spacious, open area.
Loved sitting on the couch and looking down on the canal, lights, bridge & boats. Easy walk to everywhere, including tram.
The beds are comfy. The two bathrooms sparkle. Can you tell I would rent this penthouse again? One of my fondest Amsterdam memories!!!
