The location of the hotel is great. City center with all the restaurants on a walking distance. This of course comes with its challenges! Can get very noisy.
Rooms significantly small and old fashioned. Very small working table. However everything seems cleaned.
There is no restaurant or cafe at the lobby so you should either stay in your room or fo to the city.
Can be a hood budget hotel for leisure travelers who want to visit the city, but not for business people.

We were very happy with the hotel. The room was a good size, and there was a kettle with tea and coffee (a rare luxury for continental Europe!). The bathroom was enormous, big enough to have a bath in it (although there wasn't one, just a lot of empty floor. The only downside was that there was no shampoo/soap for the shower, which is standard in 3* hotels (and even in 2* ones).

The breakfast was also very good, plenty of choice and tasty.

But the stay was overshadowed by the extreme noise situation. There really should be a disclaimer that they are located above a bar that plays night-club volume music until 2 or 3 a.m. at weekends. You can understand maybe 11 or midnight but this was just a joke. I see from other reviews that this is the norm and it wasn't just a special occasion or anything.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back to minimise the disruption from the extremely loud bar downstairs.

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Heerlen, and is within walking distance of the train line. The rooms are clean, but older furnishings. Overall the rooms are in need of an update. Breakfast was standard European fare; adequate for the palate. But, nothing "delicious" that tells me the chef is engaged. I like to support smaller establishments. So, all of this was OK with me. The thing that wasn't OK was the bar next door blasting house music until 4:00AM. This pretty much ruined the stay.

A good location, in the centre of Heerlen and near many restaurants, five minutes walk from the train station.
Clean rooms, with basics facilities, breakfast had a good choice including eggs and lots of bread choices. Could do with an option of an extra pillow and more tea/coffee in rooms. Main downside is no double room, but two single mattresses

pushed together instead, ok for one night maximum.
