the only nice thing is the interior design and the decoration all over the place. when it comes to food and service the restaurant is one of the worst in zurich. shrimp cocktail with bad quality of ingredients and it comes with ketchup/mayonnaise sauce. also in the pasta they use frozen mushrooms and serve them in a tasteless heavy cream sauce. the winelist is a joke, all of them are sold out... and he brings you just any random wine he finds in the cellar. i do not recommend this restaurant at all.

Dirty, greasy plates, dusty glasses with lipstick and fingerprint marks.
Tagliatelle were tasteless, the chocolate ravioli were undefinable and we could not detect any chocolate or any other flavour.
Never again :-(

Had a dinner with friends in the Napoli. First impression of the restaurant was unexpected and mindblowing in terms of interior fitout. It's a really unique very interesting place - worth visiting. Friendly greeting by the owner and a free welcome drink.
Wine glasses at the table did not appear 100% shiny and clean.
Very good white and red wine recommendations by Gerardo.
Order taking and food preparation took quite long for the amount of people in restaurant.
The beef Carpaccio starter was tasty and high quality meat but not arranged as expected - mainly the beef slices were way too thick.
Main dish was pasta with lobster. Edge of plate was cleaned quickly from dripped sauce and not really thoroughly. Pasta was of high quality - lobster in traces - sauce was communicated creamy, but was more oily. I missed a special taste experience.
The dessert was average in presentation and taste.
Got a free Grappa to digest and a quite high bill.
As a summary - the restaurant itself is absolutely unique and absolutely worth visiting.
The boss is very attentive, friendly and authentic.
The food experience varies and leaves room for improvement in presentation and taste.

We found this restaurant per chance, as we were looking for an open kitchen shortly after 10pm... and luckily we ended up here! :)

Beside the location itself which is just mesmerizing, we were welcomed in a very friendly way even though the restaurant was fully packed. The waiter, Emanuele, took his time explaining us the dishes and even if we were not that hungry we decided to take an antipasto and a main just because it sounded so delicious.

The food was really good - I had some truffle ravioli made with chocolate pasta - the best ones I ever had! Then we got the tagliata which is cooked directly in front of you on the plate, unique!

On top of that we were even offered with the dessert! A delicious panna cotta I couldn't resist.

We talked to the neighbor table and they told us, that it usually takes long time to be served with food, however we did not experience this. But in the rush hours I can imagine it takes more time, as the typical plate (tagliata) is being prepare in front of the guests and thus takes time.

We loved the restaurant, the food and the people! Gerardo, the owner is very friendly and we had a lot of laughters! We'll surely go again! Una vera esperienza italiana!
