This attractive bar - also with covered outside seating - has very pleasant interior, wooden panelling with paintings and mosaic tiled floor, very comfortable and relaxing. Always very clean and well maintained. All the staff are very pleasant, friendly and helpful - and always made to feel welcome. I visited here three times in August, and ate here twice. The menu is varied, and always a 'special of the day' available. The food is good, and reasonable price for Zurich town centre. Four beers on tap, including Guiness and Hurlimann lager at usual Zurich prices. Good selection of wines by glass or bottle, and cocktails appear popular here too. It can be very busy midday and evenings, with local business customers who use it regularly and booking would be recommended to be sure of a table at popular times.
I very much enjoyed this bar/restaurant, an oasis of calm in the city centre only 1 min walk off Bahnhoffstrasse. and would return anytime!
