This was an early surprise Christmas present for me from my husband. We dined here on December 23. We were warmly greeted at the door by our server Raymond. He was professional, extremely knowledgeable regarding all the foods and wines, and pleasant to chat with throughout our evening.
Raymond recommended the six course tasting menu. ( You can also order off the menu). This suggestion did not disappoint! The courses were beautifully plated and presented. Raymond explained each dish to us and how it was prepared. The colors, tastes, textures and quality exceeded our expectations. We were asked ahead of time if there were foods we did not like to eat. This was not a concern for either of us. We decided to enjoy a bottle of champagne and a bottle of red during our wonderful dining experience. We went with Raymond’s suggestions since the wine card had over 800 possibilities! Raymond’s suggestions were spot on and paired beautifully with our courses. The restaurant atmosphere has an elegant charm. Lots of fun items to see on shelves, on the walls and in the bathroom! The chef, Fabian, came out to talk with us and introduce himself. We enjoyed the music playing, our table was in the back corner which was perfect for us and the casual yet sophisticated table setting matched the overall vibe of the restaurant. The price was higher end but quality and an overall fabulous dinner experience was achieved. This was was a 3.5 hour dining experience that was worth every penny and every minute. We took the train to Enge then a car service to the restaurant - about a five minute drive. You can also take a tram/bus to the restaurant. The restaurant does have a private room upstairs for a larger group. There is also an outdoor seating area to enjoy during the summer months. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
