I came to the Dolder for the famous brunch. The selection of dishes was average and apart from the fresh oyster station, everything else was just ok. There was the usual selection of chafing dishes serving eggs, meats, veggies, salads and desserts but nothing stood out. They did not even have an omlette station! The quality of the food was fine but nothing lit up my taste buds.
For the price that they charge (92 francs per person), it is very very poor. Can you imagine spending $100 per person on an average brunch? This my friends is Zürich and the price does not include any drinks. And this is why I have rated the overall experience as poor.
I have been to 4 star hotel restaurants that serve a far better brunch than what the 5 star Dolder has to offer. If you think this place is luxury, you haven't seen anything yet. Overrated, overpriced and falls way short of places abroad.
