We stayed in a 5 bed room at the top of the old Manor House overlooking the lake and town.
The room had 6 beds in a row in a small room with wooden panelling and a sky light. Also a fridge, hair dryer and lots of sockets.
Staff very friendly despite it being a bit of a busy hostel. They sorted out free train passes for all 5 of us to get out to a pool on the mountains (see my other review), from the train station at the bottom of the road.
The facilities are basic (small kitchen but nice dining room) inside but it has lovely gardens and pool.
Best aspect is that it is 5 mins from the funicular railway which takes you into town and back for free.
A good stopover venue on the way to Italy.More
