Let's start with the room itself which is truly spectacular yet intimate. You really feel like you are dining in a palace. From beginning to end I don't think we have ever had better service anywhere. The maitre d' recommended an excellent Swiss red wine. My wife ordered one of the trio mains which consisted of three beautifully presented plates, one of a lamb chop, one of mountain trout and one of chicken breast. All were delicious. I started with a cold lobster and veal appetizer which was mouth wateringly wonderful followed by a seafood pasta, a very generous portion with lots and lots of lobster, prawns and fish on a bed of perfectly al dente penne in a delicious sauce. We were quite full so did not order desert but were brought a sort of mini bookcase with a half dozen truffles and the very best truffles we have ever had - Godiva, eat your heart out!
This was not just a delicious dinner but a whole wonderful and memorable experience.
