We have had a wonderful stay in Cresta Palace hotel. Celerina is a charming village close to St-Moritz which is much more pleasant than this busy city.

The hotel does everything to facilitate your vacation. The free pass to all means of transportation in the area is very appreciated. We used it for rides to Piz Nair summit (altitude 3057 meters) and for the bus ride back from St Moritz. (6 minutes).

We have enjoyed the healthy breakfast as well as the spa (indoor swimming pool, steambath, sauna) and a morning 'light warm up' gym session given once a week.

We shall certainly come back and stay longer !! This wonderful area deserves a longer stay to enjoy hiking biking (in the mountains as well as in the valley)

Lets start with the positive things: The building of the Hotel is nice and in good shape. it is perfectly located to go skiing (skilift just behind the hotel) or biking and hiking.

However, the prices for the rooms are too expensive even for Engadin. I would at least expect friendly staff at that price level but that's clearly not the case. The manager shows a very elitist behavior and the rest of the staff is not making you feel welcome. Maybe it was because we were not above 50 and not italian. it seemed like this group of guests is handled in a much nicer way than all the others. its a shame because the place would be nice. But for this price, I have tons of alternatives in this region. therefore, next time we go to Pontresina or St. Moritz.

This is our favorite hotel in Switzerland, and we have stayed in hotels all over this magnificent country. As the name implies, this is a Palace, and you are being treated like a king. The rooms are spacious and very nice, the food is fantastic, the staff is extremely friendly, the pool/spa area is top notch, and the area is just beautiful. We plan to go back to the Cresta Palace Hotel on every summer for many years to come.

Room tip: Rooms with a balcony are particularly nice.

Wow, where to start?
We booked in to Cresta for the first 4 nights our honeymoon and we are so glad that we did.

The hotel is beautiful and set in a lovely location with mountain views.

We were upgraded to the suite without asking and were given complementary champagne from the manager.

The staff are incredible. Nothing was too much to ask for and we felt incredibly welcome. In particular, Niko and Marget on reception and Kevin from the restaurant were brilliant. And a big shout out to Andrea on the Spa/leisure department was awesome. He took us on a guided bike ride around the area between his shifts and told us of the history of towns etc. We had an amazing day out with him.

If you are on the fence as to whether to book here or not... Do It! You will not be disappointed

A faultless - if expensive! - hotel. Reception and waiting staff were efficient, courteous and friendly. The boot room/ski locker area was the best I have ever, ever seen or used. Next time, I'll book space there! A short walk to the main ski lift. Very good food. A great Swiss wine list. The cherry on the icing on the cake would have been a kettle for countless cups of tea in one's own room.
