To go up to the Schilthorn is not cheap! But once you are there, the Revolving Restaurant should be visited, although a reservation is recommended, particularly if you would like to have a window seat/table. Alas, we did not, but still enjoyed the spectacular 360 degree view, and the food was not bad either. Service could be a little bit better, but in a place like that they do not need to worry about impeccable service, because they are not reliant on regular guests, they get a fresh supply of new visitors each day, so service, from their point of view, is secondary. Having said that, it was not too bad, I have seen worse, but I would still highly recommend the place, if only just for the views!
