If there is one thing anyone should do in their life is visit Gstaad and spend a couple of days at this hotel.
Words cannot describe the amazing experience we had at this hotel.
Travelled with family & kids. The staff were superb. I have travelled a lot but the staff in the restaurants especially were amazing.
Well worth the money spent!
The hotel is a bit away from the city center but there is a free shuttle.
The rooms décor has a lot of wood elements - feels like a wood loge cabin but way more luxurious.
I would recommend you ask for a room facing the mountains, pool and tennis court. The rooms facing the back of the hotel or at the sides are not worth the money you pay.
It takes you back in time ~ 50-70 years and you experience luxury of that era as portrayed in movies -- well several famous stars stayed at this hotel as evidenced by photos in the reception area.
My best part of the stay was sitting on the balcony w/ family w/ a cup of coffee looking at the snow / cloud capped mountains and (the absolute best part) ...breathing the fresh air.
