We went for Dinner with our daughter and son in law before a Concert just next door.
The decor with tablecloths and designer shaped table napkins were superb but it was all downhill from there. The waiter, surely not the owner, was nice enough to begin with but on saying that we had to attend a concert seemed to send him into a spin. He didn't seem to comprehend our orders. Only one incorrect beer of two ordered arrived. The food seem to be served in small aluminium type bowls which were of an amazingly small size for the prices charged. The dishes were rather below the standard expected of such an expensively furnished restaurant.
The wine was literally sloshed into the glass seemingly at a very low tide for 5 dL when first presented. The waiter said that they were stretched after a busy lunch period which we found irrelevant to our requests that were very minimal. He brought a helper who really did very little except observe, the whole exercise feeling quite strange and frankly they could have been just taken off the street When asked about another naan he said it takes 3 mins which became more than double that. Maybe that was the fate of our small and rather salty dishes which were way below what we expected for the price.
We asked that another observer to take a photograph but the results showed she had no idea what to do despite an air of total confidence.
A rather disappointing experience that promised, as we were seated, far more!
