Do a walking tour around Lucerne and you'll see this. It's a pretty sight and easy enough to get to.

There are 2 bridges like this in Luzern close to each other. They each have paintings that are hundreds of years old. On this one, it seems to be depicting the crusades. Definitely worth the time and the look to walk this bridge. Plus it has a great view of the city!

One cannot visit Luzern without walking across the Reuss river on the Chapel Bridge. A historic monument that gives you wonderful views of the city and the lake. on the old town side of the bridge various terraces await you along the quai.

You can't miss this beautiful wooden bridge which runs diagonally across the river. It was built in the 1300s and is the oldest covered wooden bridge in Europe. There are paintings which depict various scenes from the history of Lucerne. Unfortunately, a fire broke out in the 1990s and only 30 of the original 150 could be restored. We visited at sunset and the views of the bridge, as well as from the bridge, were spectacular. A must-see when in Lucerne.
