Finding locations in Basel is not always easy and we struggled to locate this restaurant. Turns out we were actually on the street but hadn't located a street sign and there was a light out on the sign. Fortunately we looked up from the map at the right time. The room was clean with white tableclothes and black and white pen and ink decorations. The host and hostess were Italian, friendly and efficient. We shared a very nice grilled vegetable platter. My wife had one of favorites, cacio y pepe, and declared it one of the best. Her noodles were cooked to perfection. I chose the special that night, a ravioli stuffed with ricotta and truffles served in a truffle sauce. It was delicious, if a bit more expensive than other pasta dishes. Wine by the glass was available and seemed to be in the 8 euro range.
