Very nice atmosphere and the food was great. The fish was lovey and the chips were divine and not at all greasy. Wonderful birthday lunch.

We stayed here for 2 nights in the Garden Room which was a quiet room at the back of the pub. The pub had a friendly atmosphere with a mix of locals and visitors. The landlady, Cath, was very helpful and made sure we were well looked after. The food was excellent and the service great considering the bar and restaurant were very busy. Would definitely stay again when next in the area.

We enjoyed two meals at The Tradesman's Arms over the Easter weekend and both were extremely tasty. The menu had plenty of variety and dishes were available in small and large sizes. The staff were both attentive and friendly and we could not fault the food, which was excellent.

Called in for a quick drink, the pub was really busy with people eating and drinking, great atmosphere and exceptionally helpful staff.

Nice pub with good food. Dog friendly - dogs allowed in bar area. We had a very good meal - my mussels were delicious and dad had the fish pie which he thoroughly enjoyed once it cooled down enough to eat! We were initially advised we would need to wait 45 mins for a table and food (I assume because the kitchen may have been short staffed). We were in no hurry so ordered drinks. Within 10 mins however they then found us a table and we ordered food moving to a larger table once another couple left. The food was very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed. We both had raspberry ripple ice cream for pudding and although very nice lacked any real taste of raspberry flavour but a very yummy vanilla in our opinion.
