I've been in Perugia 3 months, and this is my favorite coffee bar/pastry place in town.
It's owned and operated by a father and son, who are both very kind and welcoming. The place has been in continuous operation since 1950!
The coffee is great and all the pastry are made in their own shop next door - which emits an amazing odor if you pass by at the right time of night.
Via dei Priori might be the most atmospheric street in Perugia - which is saying something, so the location is great.
And, most amazing for Perugia and Italy in general, this place has space!
You don't get crushed up against the bar, don't have to figure out how to slalom your way through a crowd, and there are plenty of tables - such a relief. Highly recommend that it become your regular.
