Staff are very courteous and polite. We were greeted warmly at the reception upon check-in. We then had dinner at their small cafeteria. The lady with blond hair who took our order (sorry I didn't get her name) went an extra mile as she didn't speak much English, but she really was able to explain to us all the courses on their menu, a big thanks to her for that :) The room we had was spacious and had a breathtaking view of the plains below and the dome of their church. The only problem we had was that the wifi didn't reach the room. We had to go out to the corridor to get connected.

The hotel is not very clean, the food is mediocre (the pasta was overcooked for dinner, the breakfast was very limited and beverages came out of a machine). The male, old receptionist in the evening was very rude and unprofessional. We only got one map to share with 20 students. Wifi does not work.

Hotel was nice, warm and clean. Parking and wifi was available. Staff were courteous. Breakfast was good and you have to reserve seating for dinner. Took us about 10-15 minutes walk up to the Basilica. With elderly parents this may be a bit of a challenge if they have mobility issues.

A friend booked this place and I was worried about the location. But by bus it's pretty convenient to get up the steep hill into town.
The hotel itself is really nice with big rooms, terrace and even nice meals at decent prices for dinner. Definitely worth a recommendation considering the cheap price we paid (sorry, forgot how much it was exactly).

We stayed as part of a large group for two evenings. The bedrooms were large enough but quite basic.
There is not a bar but you ask the reception for drinks and they will get them for you.
There is not a list of what is available in soft drinks or alcohol which was really confusing for us all.
The food at dinner and breakfast was very good though.
It is a steep walk up to Assissi but that gives you practise as the town is very hilly but beautifull.
Drink prices are reasonable when you get them as service is very slow.

Room tip: basic clean accommodation
