This is one small room in this gorgeous Cathedral, and you could easily walk by if you did not realize it was there. Apparently this room was closed off for hundreds of years, so the frescoes were not exposed to candles, people, etc. So when it was finally opened for view, the colors remained bright and beautiful. Worth researching a little in the guidebook so you know exactly the importance of this amazing room!

Although you don't get long to view this stunning room the sights will stay with you for a lifetime. Breath-taking.

you can see everything from the door way, it is just 20 or so large print books behind glass.
The walls and ceiling are well painted

When you visit the Cathedral don't miss this room. If you're into art then you'll want to stay in here and soak it up. We were there early May (Sat) and it wasn't too busy.

This is just a room within the cathedral. Not that interesting. Worth about 30 seconds of your time.
