see you again in Flo!
Really good tour and lovely guide. Think it's a bit pricey for the amount of cycling and Shame we only got to taste 2 wines. Would have been nice to taste a few more wines and have more information about the grapes in the wine.
we're glad you liked our bike tour! Regarding the price: we have checked our competitors prices and I can assure you that ours are very competitive. The wine tasting session and the vineyard's tour aren't too detailed because in a bike tour we focus more on the biking aspect but if you want to know more about wine and taste more kind of wine let me suggest you to come back and book one of our wine & food tours. As a returning customer you'll get a 10% discount.
We did the 2 day trip from Florence to Siena. Lots of cycling. Great food! The inn we spent the night in was lovely.
Our guide, Bill, was great! He kept everyone motivated. Had some interesting stories. He was also very helpful with restaurant and hotel recommendations on arrival in Siena.
Definitely use this company if you're looking for a tour in the area.
Thanks for your kind words!
See you soon again,
This was one of the best days of our trip to Italy, I strongly recommend this bike tour if you are in Florence.
The scenery in Tuscany is absolutely amazing.
Andrea and Mario our guides were fantastic they were really knowledgeable about everything the area, the trees, the wine, the bikes etc. The villa where we stoped for the wine and olive oil tasting and a traditional Tuscan antipasto (Bruschetta, cheese, bread, prosciutto) was a really beautiful place with lots of history and character.
This is a good way to get a break from the museums Don't miss it!
Andrea and Mario
We had the best time. The guys at We like Tuscany are awesome! It was raining on the day we were supposed to have our ride and they were so flexible and gave us the opportunity to change our day but were stilling willing to take us out in the rain if we wanted at no extra cost to us. We ended up switching days and had the best time on a beautiful sunny day. The ride was easier than I expected, one big hill but if your in even decent shape it's not bad at all!
Our guide was AWESOME, ask for Andrea! He was so fun and knowledgeable about the area. He really made the experience so much better, can't say enough good things!
The winery was excellent as well, we fell in love with the B&B and plan to take a trip back and stay there and we will definitely do the all day bike tour on our next trip!
Thanks Blake Sommer V.! A real pleasure biking with you.
I booked this tour for my girlfriend and I on our trip to Florence this September. The weather forecast refused to fulfil my North American Girlfriend’s dream of cycling ‘Under the Tuscan Sun,’ but we persevered anyway in spite of the “100% rain, 100% of the time” forecast. We needn’t have been concerned as everything seemed to be in place to ensure we had a memorable day – the owner even lent us rain jackets (which incidentally proved absolutely essential…).
The tour was fantastically organised from start to finish, with our hilarious and indefatigable guide Freddie mixing up a wicked concoction of Irish charm and humour, with local lingo and knowhow. Freddie was a great guide around the Tuscan hills and ensured we were all comfortable with the hills, route and amount of olive oil required for bread at lunch time.
The food and wine was also beyond expectation, with probably the best pasta we had all trip! The route took in some fairly punchy hills (but our group managed without any problems) with an absolutely brilliant and memorable decent back into Florence, definitely felt like we explored the local area and got a good workout (i.e. book an easier tour if you’re not a regular cyclist!).
Can’t recommend this trip enough and it’s great bang for your buck considering the quality of the food and guiding that you get – also gives you the satisfaction of doing it all under your own steam (no e-bikes!), allowing you important guilt free pasta rations.
Well done Freddie, after this trip, we don’t just ‘Like’ Tuscany, we ‘Love’ it!!
Thanks Eva! Come back soon to Italy...
