You can't beat this apartment for it's location. It really is so close to the heart of Florence with restaurants, bar, laundry, and supermarket nearby. We met the owner Riccardo on arrival, and he was most helpful even though we were late in arriving from Rome. He was easy to deal with prior to our arrival from Australia.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor of an old building. Watch out for those flights of stairs if you have heavy bags. Unfortunately you won't find many apartments with elevators in this price range.
The apartment itself is very comfortable. As others have mentioned, it's as you see in the pictures. The only negative is that the toilet is in the shower. Consequently, after a shower, the toilet is wet.
There's also a bar a couple of doors down which goes till the early hours of the morning. I didn't have any problems with it, but if you are a light sleeper, you might be affected.

We enjoyed our time in this one bedroom flat. It's really spacious and has a good sized kitchen and bathroom. It is up lots of stairs - which could put some people off - but we didn't mind the climb. It is really, really central, literally just behind the Duomo.

My family and I loved this little apartment. It looks exactly like you see in the pictures. Very nicely decorated, homey and comfortable, we could tell that Riccardo took a lot of care to make it attractive and inviting. The location is excellent, very close to the Duomo. On this street there are restaurants, shops, a gelato place, a grocery store, a Laundromat and more. I couldn't ask for anything better and my college age daughter said she wanted to move in there. :) The cost was very reasonable and I think renting a place is definitely the way to go in Italy. We had no regrets at all.
