Stayed for 3 nights in a private room for 2 with non-ensuite private washroom.

Silvia made this stay absolutely enjoyable! She is so friendly and incredibly helpful. She accommodated our request to drop off our luggage early in the morning and gave us our keys so that we could return any time we liked after 2 pm. She even made sure we knew how to use all the keys before we went off to wander in Florence. The breakfast that she provided was incredible; it included prosciutto, cheese, fruits, yogurt, juice, toast, and cappuccino. On the day that we were departing early in the morning, Silvia’s brother Sabino provided us with a basket of many items for breakfast. He even included a kettle and cups for coffee/tea in the morning.

Our room and washroom were unbelievably clean. The shower was massive. The location was fantastic; it is almost right next to the Duomo – which is practically the center of everything in Florence. Even with the busy street, we couldn’t hear any outside noise in our room. However, we had a very noisy guest in the other room so the echo in the halls made it a bit difficult to sleep. We really appreciated when Sabino came in the middle of the night to quiet down the noisy guest. Sabino and Silvia are outstanding hosts. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this B&B to anyone.

Room Tip: The "Basic Double Bed Private" room includes a HUGE non-ensuite washroom. This room does not have a window that leads into the street so it's very quiet and peaceful.

This B&B is located just around the corner from Il Duomo and only 5 minutes from the Accedemia. The this little gem is on the second floor and you will be greeted by Sylvia who shows you her home and B&B. The room was good, but the bed was a little on the hard side as it is only a foam mattress, but the rest of the room is clean, the bathroom is modern, clean and a large walk in shower. Breakfast was basic but gives you what you need to start the day. Our only regret was that we did not wash our hair here instead waited till our next stop where the facilities and hairdryer was not at all as nice! We recommend this little B&B.

Room Tip: Book 2/3 rooms which has en suite bathroom

I could not recommend this cute B&B enough. It is tucked away in a great area right in the centre of town.
Although being in a busy street, the rooms themselves are quiet so you can rely on getting a good nights sleep.
We had an ensuite room, great size and very clean.
Sylvia and her brother made us feel so very welcome. They provided a decent breakfast every morning, and also recommended good spots to visit as we were only there for a short amount of time.
Great value, and one of the highlights of our trip so far.
The only downfall is the shower is very small, and the room can get quite humid. Ceiling fan is ok but is a little hot during the heat of the day.
Thank you again Floralia B&B, we will see you next time :)

We travelled for one week to Pisa, Cinque Terre, Florence and Siena...We only spent one night at Floralia B&B. Extremely convenient location! Very friendly welcome and service during our stay. Very accommodating in terms of leaving cases until later in the day after we had checked out. We made the booking thinking we were getting an ensuite bathroom but on arrival it was in a separate room. It was titled 'private bathroom' and not 'ensuite' so that is our own fault. The room itself was quite enclosed and no window to the outside. There was a bit of a smell in the room when we arrived, presume this is down to lack of airing between guests. It was also quite noisy even though we didn't have a window out onto the street. That would be the only fault I could give the place. Overall very good and great value. If I was to return to Florence, I would stay here again but I would want to stay in a room with a view out onto the street and ensuite if this was available.

Room Tip: Ask for the room at the end of the hall for a view out onto the street, also looked lighter and well ventilated.
