The hotel is in an old Firenze building, where locals live. Overall service was very good. The hotel owner is very responsible and open, he always answers you on your requests very quickly. Also he gave us the map with good advices on Firenze city sights and good restaurants. The rooms has nice "old" Italian design, but the rooms are simple. There is one common kitchen for all guests. The breakfasts were included, you will receive coupons for the cafe which is very close to the hotel. This cafe opens very early (I think even from 7-00 am). There are a lot of locals having their morning coffee there. Also good thing is that the hotel is located outside ZTL area of Firenze (zone with limited traffic). There is a supermarket near the hotel. In case you need to park your car on secured parking, you could look on the parking on Sansovino St. 53. It's an open-air secured parking, located in 15-20 min distance from the hotel by walking. The good thing is that it's located outside ZTL area of Firenze (zone with limited traffic). And it's cheap - appr. 12-15 euro/day.

The only minor thing is that during our stay in Green room, the bed was very creaking. But maybe it's already fixed.

Room Tip: During our stay in Green room, the bed was very creaking. But maybe it's already fixed. The purple room (on 1st floor) is not the best, there are rooms better. In case you need to park your car on secured parking, you could look on the parking on Sansovino St. 53. It's an open-air secured parking, located in 15-20 min distance from the hotel by walking. Thats says it all ... the star attraction is Marco and his family who run the place. They love their job and are hence good at it! Location is not bad, rooms are super and a common kitchen is an added luxury at this price! Another great thing is the included breakfast at Jolly Cafe right in front which IMHO is the best cafe in the world. Whatever we had there was unbelievable!!! Totally recommended!!!

An affordable alternative about 20 minutes walk from the central station, little bit more to the historical centre. Basic but very clean and nice rooms, around the B & B there're many inexpensive restaurants, too. Host, Marco, was extremely friendly and helpful, he gave a map of Florence and showed the way to the main attractions, as well as to to the restaurants around. In the common kitchen there was a fridge and possibilties for cooking. Some minor noise of doors when the guests arrived in the evening, but in general, it was very calm. I'd warmly recommend this place for anyone planning a holiday in Florence!

rooms has a part of florence spirit. the only minus is just the sounds from the other app's. good quality for sleep, clean including bath, wifi ok (red app), excellent area for people who loves quiet nights but not far from supermarket, or center or districts with restaurants or tratoria's. enjoy and good qulity breakfast (coffee and home "pasticeria") in italian style. friendfull staff, good connections to SMN Santa Maria Novella (main bus and train station). your choice deppend of your needs, but price for what you get is competitive.

The staff - Marco was very friendly and helpful. He gave all the information one needs for the stay in the city. The room was good, comfortable and clean. There is a kitchen with all the necessary utensils. The location is nice - just a quarter of an hour walk from the Pitti Palace, Ponte Vecchio and a few minutes more to the centre with all the landmarks. One gets cards for breakfast in a cafe some 100 metres from the hotel. You can choose 2 croissants from a dozen, coffee or tea. Marco recommends a few very nice and cheap restaurants in the area.
