Great location, wonderful breakfast and TERRIFIC customer service. We had some issues with our electrical converter for my husband's CPAP machine for sleep apnea. The front desk staffer, Nadine, tried to explain it to us but after checking to make sure the desk was covered, personally escorted us to our room to assist us. She checked with us later and during our stay, always remembered our room number and our name. The rest of the staff was so helpful as well. I was responsible for getting about 30 of us in taxis and they assisted and made it very smooth. The rooftop pool and bar also made for a great gathering spot with a fantastic view.

I had the most wonderful experience! The staff were so helpful and the service was 5 Star! Every morning my room was cleaned at the exact same time which was incredibly helpful so that I could plan my mornings. If I had any questions about the town the staff sat with me to explain directions and where to get the best authentic Italian cuisine.

Beautiful hotel in Art deco style. Huge rooms with huge, very comfortable beds and very good air conditioning. Breakfast was a very good selection but quite expensive at €16 per head. Bar food selection not very big. Reception staff great and very helpful, gave us a late checkout at 2.30pm with no extra charge and even allowed us to use the shower to freshen up before our flight at 4pm.

Dear Thalia,

Thank you very much for having chosen our NH Anglo American for discovering our enchanting city!

Our NH Anglo American is the perfect combination between high standards of service and historical fascination, as this is a historical palace from the 18th century where famous writers and artists walked in the peak of Belle Epoque period. As you write, the location is perfect as this is a quiet residential area not too far from the city center.

We are very happy to read about your appreciation for the Staff: customer care, professionality and constant dedication to giving unforgettable experiences to our Guests are our daily effort!

Hoping to welcome you back, I wish you a lovely day!

Best Regards,

Receptionist
Giulia

After a short walk from train station I arrived at the NH Hotel, first impressions of the lobby were good & staff were helpful, this hotel is located a little out of the main town. So if your are after something central I would stay else where.

The room was very average. And not up to a 4 Star hotel standard.

To begin with the air conditioning sounded like a helicopter was landing on the roof. 🚁

The bathroom had one dull light and the shower had no shower screen so water basically ended up everywhere in the bathroom. 💦

Wifi was not existent in our rooms however did work in the lobby but was super slow.📵

The bed and mattress were actually very comfy, our room did have a little balcony which was nice but with no real view.

If I was coming back to Florence I wouldn’t stay here again.

This property is completely run down. Definitely not a four star hotel. The classification is completely wrong. I don’t even consider it a 1 star. The rooms are all run down, very old, paint is coming off the walls, flooring is very worn out, furniture is old and needs to be replaced, facilities are very old. The air conditioner doesn’t cool the room. When we discussed it with the staff (Gabriella at the front desk) said that is was a culture thing. Believe me we were sweating and couldn’t sleep because the room was very hot. We were sweating for 2 nights until we were able to get a different room which was only a little better. The bathrooms were very hot and had no ventilation. The whole hotel experience was horrible. I would never recommend it. I can’t believe that we paid so much money thinking that we were staying in a class 4 hotel. Very disappointed with NH. We travel a lot and this has been the worst experience ever. They said the hotel is going to be remodeled in a couple of years but I think they need to remodel it before they have any more guests.
