“Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Florence!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 May 2012

Spent 2 nights at this adorable family run hotel that is literally in the heart of Florence (walk to Duomo in less than 10 mins)! The room was very nice and clean and spacious. Our room was at the back of the hotel off the main street overlooking a little courtyard - it was perfect and made for a good night's rest. The complimentary welcome snack and glass of wine was a total delight upon arrival (pic below) as was the amazingly delicious free breakfast buffet every morning (yum, yum, yum!!). The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Also the hotel has free wifi! I highly recommend this charming boutique hotel as it has so much to offer! Say hello to the really nice manager, Antonella - she is more than willing to assist with your stay!

This is a great family ran hotel in Florence. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The location is in the middle of Florence attractions. Just a couple of minutes from the Duomo. The rooms are large and well furnished.

The breakfast was great. High quality fresh food that keeps coming out all morning.

Wish we could have stayed longer- amazing location close to Duomo, great service, staff went above and beyond to make sure everything we needed was taken care of for us.

Room Tip: The apartment was great for 4 persons.

This hotel's location is ideal - close to the Duomo and othe sites, but a little bit out of the tourist area. The staff couldn't have been friendler or more helpful. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom was modern. They serve an excellent breakfast. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when in Florence.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the courtyard for a quieter night.

Fantastic location, no more than 5 min walk from the Battistero and Santa Maria del Fiore, and San Lorenzo market. With the closing of Piazza del Duomo to any form of traffic, there are basically no cars, buses and no more noise in front of the hotel. The rooms are lovely, all in different styles, some with antique furniture, room 108 where we stayed was particularly large and quiet. Great breakfast with organic, small farm products from Florence and prompt courteous service. The staff at the reception desk has always been very friendly and responsive. This was our second visit to the Guelfo Bianco and we plan to return for our next trip!
