Whether or not you want to visit the Strozzi depends on how you feel about the temporary exhibit on display when you are there. We lucked out with an exhibit on John Singer Sargeant and other Americans who spent time in Florence. It showcased a number of works by Sargent and other americans, as well as by Italians who were working in similar styles. The placards were very informative and interesting.
