“The history of Renaissance art!”
Reviewed 21 April 2012

The collection is one of the best in the world if not the best. Far too many masterpieces to list. Unmissable!

“Bit Disappointed”
Reviewed 21 April 2012

The Botecellis were absolutely wonderful - but the museum is so full of people you feel a bit like you are on a conveyor belt and can't really spend time soaking up the individual pieces. Would recommend visiting out of the busy tourist seasons.

“Great museum”
Reviewed 21 April 2012

The Uffizi is definitely worth a visit to see such great works as the Birth of Venus, but it also has a wonderful collection in general. Highly recommend.

“The Ultimate Gallery of Art”
Reviewed 20 April 2012

All the masterpieces you know and love by Renaissance masters are here, but more than that - its the beautiful frescoed corridors, randomly scattered with antique sculptures and Medici portraits. The cafe has an amazing view, the bookshop is extraordinary and there are always first class temporary exhibitions which showcase the Uffizi's lesser known or rarely seen collections, such as on right now - the AMAZING tapestries. Also worthwhile, if you can organize to join a booking only tour along the Vasari Corridor with self-portraits by famous artists, crossing over the Arno river.
