We've stayed here twice & have loved every minute. As a disabled traveller the apartment was perfect, accessible for a wide wheelchair with a ramp up to front door & has a wet room. Federico is just so lovely, nothing is too much trouble. The apartment is beautiful, with lovely rustic furniture, but also with all mod cons. The apartment is in a quiet part but 2 minutes
from everything. If you love culture,
history & fun then this is the place to go. Can't recommend enough, the staff are all very friendly & helpful. We just love it there xx

My mother and I stayed in two apartments during our stay - Bianca Cappello and Leon X. Both apartments were beautifully furnished and VERY clean. Federico was such an amazing host and person - he is always there to help you with anything you need (car service, reservations, recommendations) Without a doubt this is my favorite area of Firenze. The apartments are in walking distance of the Ponte Vecchio, Santo Spirito, the train...! Whenever I return to Firenze I will 100% be staying at Palazzo Belfiore!!

I felt that Palazzo Belfiore was a true Italian experience. If you're wanting to delve right into what Italy is and all that it offers, live like a true Italian while staying at This hotel. First of all, Frederico, the hotel owner is a one of a kind person who was excited for a few Americans to be visiting his city. He welcomed us with open arms and gave us a little history behind his prized hotel. Not only will you be extremely comfortable in these spacious rooms, you will feel as if you're staying in a museum, and that alone is worth the stay. Right around the corner is Piazza Passera where you will find many locals, amazing pizza, and gelato to die for.

Stayed in two bedroom apartment with two kids. Apartment dates from 14th century with original murals. Location is also great. Very close everything yet just out of the way from the crowd. The hosts are also awesome providing little touches and lots of information on restaurants and sights. We went with their recommendations and were very happy. Would love to stay longer next time.

As a full time wheelchair user I have very specific needs when choosing holiday accommodation. Palazzo Belfiore and it's adapted appartment met all of them. Federico was an amazing host and his enthusiasm for his city of Florence was infectious. We were given lots of information and tips to help us both enjoy and make the most of our holiday time. Our original plan was to hire a car but decided that the lack of parking and potential hassle of actually driving in Florence we would let the train take the strain instead. A word of warning to other wheelchair users, you need to book your trip the day before so that assistance can be arranged. Everywhere we went help was offered and given with a smile.
Thank you again Federico for our gifts of wine and biscotti we have had a truly wonderful holiday.
The only negative comment has been made before...slow wifi.
