Clean, practical, close to Santa Maria Novella train station (7-10 min walking) and to the city center (15 min). Friendly owners, gave us map for Florence and tips for restaurants. Free wifi.
Thin walls, you can hear the neighbours. Very small shower. Nowhere to put clothes in the bathroom. No English TV channels, only one French channel. Fridge not cool enough.

Lorenzo is a very very nice person. Unfotunatly however, the place itself is full of problems. Our bed was actually two beds joint together; the pillows were unspeakably bad....To go downstairs during the night proved to be more unconfortable than one could envision by looking at the pictures. Though the kitchen has appliances, there are no oulets to use them. While the bed upstairs gets unconfortably hot, downstairs is significanlty colder. Visitors can not adjust the heating system... The house is a little too far from the center and there are very few options for eating in the neighborhood (though San Jacopino proved to be a very nice place). The bathroom is a little too small. Though the apartment was clean, looking back at it I feel the place is overall unhealthy. The wifi system is annoying (one needs to repeat everything over and over). We ended up moving to a different place where for only 5 euros more we were closer to the center, in much more confortable conditions withbreakfast included. We have to conclude that Casa di Olga was a mistake, and I still can not understand why it was rated as fabulous (which helped to mislead us).

Details, location and images of our apartments are well shown in all the websites, so I think that when a guest decides to stay by us he can well know all. We always accept suggestions and comments to improve our work, but we do not accepr negative reviews about the position, the bed in the loft and also here about breakfast not included (we have apartments, not rooms and is well written that BREAKFAST IS NOT INCLUDED!). Also the heating, you could adjust by yourself... sometimes the easiest way would be to speak and ask us to solve some problems before giving negative comments! You say there were many other solutions nearest to the center, with breakfast and with a better price... I think you could choose one of them to have a better stay in Florence ;)
Thank you for being by us,
Benedetta

Nice apartment and easy to accommodate our family of 5 with 2 bathrooms being very handy. Parking was available on the street in front of the apartment but you have to pay 15 euros during the day (free at night and Sundays). Owner was very nice and provided good info and spoke good English. A Casa di Olga is about a 15 minute walk from the center of Florence and all the major sites, but if walking is difficult as it was for some of my family members, I would recommend a taxi (will cost about 10 euros). It is outside the ZTL so that was a plus. Only knock was that no breakfast was included whereas there appears to be a B&B downstairs run by the same people where it was included. It didn't dampen our stay but for what we paid, it would have been nice.

The apartament, which we rented- was large, cosy and practically in the centre of Firenze, so it was very near to go everywhere in the centre of the city on foot! The host of "A Casa di Olga" is a very friendly person, who told us everything we wanted to know about places, worth visiting in Firenze. I would recommend that place to everyone!

We stayed here for three nights and was very happy with the place. Very neat and tidy, conveniently located and very nice owners. I would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone coming to Florence.
