As you enter this restaurant, you realize that it is high standard, with its sophisticated vintage decor and soft lighting.
But the high quality is above all confirmed by the food, full of personality and impeccable quality, with no exception.
We were five, and we dined here for one of us's birthday party. We chose our dishes from the day menu (four main dishes and a pasta dish), as for the appetizers we were advised by the waiter, very friendly.
Preceded by a taste of gazpacho and accompanied by an excellent Prosecco wine bottle, five rich starters (not on the menu of the day) were proposed, each consisting of a baked bundle of eggplant slices, alternating with cheese slices; and of a fondue bowl.
The first course (chosen only by me) was a delicious dish of "penne" pasta, cheese, sausage and "Colonnata" lard.
The main dishes were a "cartoccio" of mixed fish, and three "scottona" veal (ie, 13 months old and which has never calved) fillets with salad dressings.
Finally, to celebrate the birthday, a huge, nice fruit cake, specially prepared for us.
The dinner was accompanied by two excellent bottles of "Morellino di Scansano" red wine
The bill was 300 euros, overall proportional to the local level.
