Barbara and Stefano were wonderful hosts, always there to help and give suggestions. Our Libecchio cottage was lovely- quiet and private, with cooking facilities. Barbara showed us where the Penny grocery store was, and we enjoyed shopping there and also at the local outdoor markets, planning our evening meals. The environment is beautiful, and the location very handy to many Tuscan towns. Grazie mille!

Excellent accommodations, very clean and comfortable. The people who own and operate the Villa are fabulous people that will meet and exceed all your needs and requests. Beautiful Italian countryside location.

We returned to this Villa with some friends and stayed a week, they stayed an extra week and no one was disappointed. Barbara and Stephano are excellent hosts and bend over backwards for you, no task is too big or too little
We asked for a welcoming dinner for our group of 8 and the dinner was as good as any 5 star restaurant, Barbara and her mother made a huge spread with all the courses and everyone went to bed the first night full
Barbara recommended an excellent tour of a vineyard near Montalcono and we enjoyed the tour and ride there - saw beautiful country and bought some great wines
We ate dinners by the pool every night and there was always fire wood and charcoal available, pool still cool as weather was in the mid 20s
The property was spotless and the attention to detail is perfect, there is not one thing out of place or in need of repair, they have maintained and kept the property in perfect condition
Cannot wait to return and miss it already

Room Tip: Small single house by front is perfect for a couple, 3 bedroom is great for families

Our stay at the Villa Rosa dei Venti was the best experience of our Italy trip! Although we loved Venice, Florence and Rome, our stay here immersed us in the culture and the wonderful people! The hosts, Stefano and Barbara were gracious, warm and welcoming! We had the wonderful op-portunity to cook a home made authentic Italian meal and share it with the family. I can recommend this experience highly enough!

I can't really comment on the value because we went to Italy for 3 1/2 weeks and it was all part of our tour package. At night it was very quite. You do hear the speed train for a second or two but it did not impact us in any way. The location we thought was good - you do need a car. It is about a 15 minute drive to Cortona for groceries, handy really! Barbara and Stefano were great - we felt like we had known them for a long time. We felt very at home there. We would recommend this place for sure.
