We were amazed at how peaceful and tranquil it was at this location. A true getaway. Birds chirping, quiet solitude, view of Cortona in the distance. We took long walks on the country lanes, and felt welcomed by Paolo and his family. A real treat was the wine and olive oil tasting with bruschetta. Everything so fresh and flavorful, and even though Paolo spoke very little English, he somehow was able to help us savor every bite, explaining exactly how to taste and enjoy the flavors of Tuscany.

The rooms were very spacious clean and perfectly neat with what appeared to be brand new fixtures etc. Bed was comfortable and welcome after a full day of walking and exploring. Good location, great hosts and a beautiful inn. Only complaint was that the old stone buildings seemed a bit less than private. What I mean is, we could very easily hear our neighbors talking etc. and felt that we should whisper so as not to disturb anyone. The upstairs guests too would arouse you with their early footsteps. I suppose that is just the way the old buildings were built... but really only a small annoyance.

The very high standards set from the beginning are still the reference: absolute friendliness, cleanliness and beautifully decorated rooms and public areas make you absolutely feel at home.
The quiet location in midst of Val di Chiana and the comfortable beds, the areas inside and surrounding the hotel make sure you get the rest you're looking for.
Dinner is served just on certain nights - make sure not to miss it: the owner herself cooks absolute delicious homestyle Tuscan food starting from just the best ingredients.
Almost to nice to be recommended! And ... what you see on the pictures is what you get.

This has to be one of the best places we have ever stayed. The property has been restored to perfection. The owners and their staff are very warm, friendly and so attentive. The attention to detail in every way-from the decor, to the delicious meals served, to the incredible hospitality- are second to none. We can't say enough about how wonderful this place is!! The location is perfect for day trips to many towns in the surrounding areas. Would highly recommend staying here.

Le Terre Dei Cavalieri is classic Tuscany, perfect in every way! It hosts a superior setting, accommodations and staff. The views are breathtaking, the rooms beautiful, the breakfast delectable, the dinner delightful and the value outstanding. Cavalieri makes for an exquisite cultural experience! There is really no way to convey the genuine warmth of the staff at Cavalieri. It is clear this family operated villa is an expression of dedication to love and excellence. Our gratitude toward Eugenia, Paolo, Marco, Anacleta and especially Serena will be unending. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay in one of the most charming places on earth! Sincerely, Diane and George Moger

If you are looking for a charming, quiet, relaxing Tuscan resort or B&B, you won't find a nicer one. We spent a week there, using it as a home base as we explored the ancient Tuscan towns nearby, such as Perugia, Siena, Pienza, Montepulchiano and others. After a four- year renovation, the owners Eugenia & Paul, have created a quiet oasis away from hustle & bustle. About the only noise we heard were roosters crowing and the occasMional crunch of car tires of fellow guests.
Occasional dinners are offered, cooked by Eugenia, a terrific cook. But make sure you have a 100% communication as to when exactly they are held, otherwise you'll lose out as we did. Neither speak English very well and although anxious to please, communication can be difficult.
But dinner there is worth the effort as it can be wearying to have to go out to find a decent restaurant after a long day of sightseeing. Nearby restaurants in Cortona, a walled town, are great, but traveling foreign roads at night and having to park outside the walls and walk upmthe steep streets can be a challenge to tired feet. TIP: A GPS in your rental car is a must if you don't read Italian.
