This place is on the regular tourist route and you won't have to go out of your way to see it. If you walk up the Corso you will come across it.

After a long walk through this beautiful village, we came upon this unique building. It dates back to the medieval period and its unique architecture reflects its origins. The building is currently home to an a museum and art gallery.
As we were on a tight time schedule, we did not have time to visit the museum and gallery. However, we did stick our heads through the entrance and took a quick look at the courtyard.
After having a quick look and taking some photographs, it was time for us to move on.
Certainly one of the most notable and significant buildings in the village!

An important point on Corso Umberto. During my stay there it hosted a Van Gogh multimedia experience "exhibition" so I visited it and was very impressed with the interior as well - I could feel the smell of the ancient chambers, wood and stones. Impressive architecture and perfect setting for art displays.

This is a main junction on Corso Umberto. There are many cafes. The church in the square seems to host many weddings where you can see a display of Italian fashion and watch the bride arrive.

Seems like a very nice historic building judging from the outside. Inside there are some galleries/exhibitions, but since it does not interest me much, I didn't care to pay the entrance fee. Part of the building houses Taormina's tourist information.
