excellent room, great location, excellent breakfast. helpful desk. Hotel seems like they used to be...large staircase, spacious rooms . did not see elevators, but I was on the
2nd floor ( first floor by their description ) I like old character hotels...they don't make them like this one anymore.

Room Tip: it's a tourist town, but a classic hotel. It's beautiful so who cares...you'll like it

The Taormina Park Hotel is lovely! The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the view amazing. The scrumptious breakfast will fill you until dinner. The reception staff was helpful and accommodating. The bar help was efficient and friendly. And the location is perfect...not in the middle of the tourist area, just a few streets away, nice enough to walk a short distance. Bonus: across from the beautiful park. ❤️

We stayed at the Taormina Park Hotel for 3 days and 2 nights. The hotel is in an excellent location. Our room was big, well decorated and had great view. Very reasonable rates. But the best part of this place was Irene (the front desk clerk). She was extremely helpful, courteous and spoke many languages. She had many helpful suggestions. This is a wonderful place.

Positive: The view from the hotel is just amazing, the old feel of the very very charming little town. The women receptionists were great and helpful.

Negative:
HORROR BREAKFAST: A lots of dirty tables and you had to clean for yourself to sit somewhere, there was a shortage of everything, the food was gone, eaten by those who came for breakfast at 8 and nobody was there a lot of time. On some mornings there was a guy who would fry you eggs, but he was there for 5 minutes every half an hour so you had to chase him. On guest didn't want to wait for him another 30 minutes so he made his own egss. A guest in his 60's wearing a suit was frying his eggs!

It felt bad for ordering espressos because there was only one guy who did something and he had to clean the tables.

HORROR: The plastic cups!! Oh yes, the plastic cups instead of glasses was awful. No glasses in the room, not in the restaurant, like we were on a cheap picnic. So sad for a 4**** hotel. You get real glasses in a 2** hotel!

No wi-fi working in the room, only in common areas. maybe it's because we were on the third floor, but no, you DON'T HAVE A FREE WIFI IN THE ROOM.

My review is only 2 star, because for this kind of hotel and luxury, there should be free wifi, good breakfast, polite staff, working staff, etc. We paid a lot, just for the view it turns out...

Room Tip: Go for the sea-view room with balconies

THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL. Rude reception staff, terrible and expensive parking, staff and management not interested in addressing issues. There are good B & B's in Taormina with parking and staff that actually care.

Room Tip: Some nice rooms with great views of Etna
