We spent 4 nights here, which may have been 1 too many.
Nice basic hotel, comfortable bed acceptable bathroom, noisy air con!
Nice pool, pleasant front of house staff, great bar staff.
Probably a mile and a half out of town - that's a long way at 33-34 degrees.
Bars great during the day but shuts promptly at 11 not good if you want a cooling drink after that walk back from town!
Didn't feel any worries on walking by the way.
would I stay again? If it was half a mile nearer certainly as it is possibly.
Great views from the restaurant on the 8th floor.

Room Tip: Most rooms have a balcony the 05 and 15's don't

We recently held company meetings at the hotel with 70+ people from several countries and languages. Many moving parts and tight schedules. The Management and staff handled our stay and all of our requests with superior service. Marcelo and Rosela handled our group with absolute care and professionalism that is rarely seen in other European locations. We have been to many hotels in many countries for our meetings, and this was by far the best. Highly recommend for your business meetings. We will be back.

It’s always hard to write a bad review but this is my experience. First off, the Staff and management are great. Super nice people, very friendly and they all seem to enjoy the work and are very authentic. That’s a big deal, but the rest of the hotel is two star so that’s the rating i give it.

Super basic rooms. No extra locks on the doors. Door knob is a press button not a twist. It’s like from some old school mobile home. Weird.

The tile floors are decades old style motel 6 variants. It’s hideous. Basic everything. And the location is not in a pretty place. Industrial park views (yes there is ocean past that) or hillside business and home view.

There is a track (field and track) next door so two out of three days there were blaring announcements for a few hours and today a marching band bonus. Ug.

The restaurant is ok. Just ok. The meeting room AC broke and the WiFi is really bad. Most of the time is does not work. That’s a serious problem for work.

Management cannot fix most of these issues, so i admit i did not go to them on most of these issues. I did discuss the WiFi and AC but they can’t do much about that either.

Again the staff are really nice. They make it tolerable. I feel bad writing this as i am still here, but it is all true. The rate was low so that counts for something. And the laundry service is fast and well done. There are a fair amount of people here on holiday who seem to be happy. So maybe it’s just me.

Comfortable rooms, outdoor pool, ample parking but not much else going for it, even the bar shuts at 11.00pm and there's no hanging around, doors are closed on the dot. The small area to sit outside is also the only area for smokers to have a beer so can be a bit smelly.
There are bus stops outside the hotel (get your ticket first from the Tabac just down the road), best value is the 24 hour ticket but don't put it in the machine on the bus, it eats them. Not much around the hotel for meals but plenty of options in town and a late bus to get back.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Panorama. We were very disappointed by the condition of the hotel, the rooms are tired and are in need of an update. The decor reminder us of the 80s. They are not sound proof, you can hear above you, when people go to the bathroom , the running shower or toilet. Don't get a room on the 7th floor , as you hear the staff walking around in the early hours, dragging chairs around in the restaurant ! We had to move , which thankfully one of the nice gentlemen in reception was more than happy to help with. The AC doesn't work very well either, so I would dread to think how warm it would be in the summer!
There was one really nice member of staff called Alberto, who was helpful, he helped us with wines and restaurants and was more than happy to talk to us about the area. As for some of the other staff, they were quite rude at times, the older man who worked mostly at breakfast , couldn't wait for us to leave each morning he was more concerned about laying up for dinner which he made very obvious by the amount of noise he made! Although when one of the big bosses came up , it went a lot quieter. I think his time would have been better spent refilling the empty trays of food, which seem to be bare every time we came for breakfast at 9. We tried to have a drink in the bar at 10.45 in the evening , and was told they shut at 11, which we said was fine, the barman was not happy about this and it made it very clear to us, by going around banging and nodding his head, pretty much pushed us out so he could close, not really nice to treat guests that !
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to couples or families and we certainly wouldn't return.
Real shame as it was a birthday celebration and the hotel didn't even provide a complimentary drink or go out of their way to make us feel welcome.
