We visited here on a very hot day and it was lovely to be on a beach that had a lovely cool breeze coming off the sea. It seemed very popular with locals and wind surfers and was a nice sandy beach.

The place is ideal to surf from April till May beginning of June.
It is never busy or crowded.
Often they organise gigs or events
There are no buildings nor hotels nearby, also this is completely free to access.

Poro Ferro is huge. It take 20 minutes to walk from side to side. Parking is often a problem. The water is not suitable for young children especially when comes from West.

Unlike many other beaches in Sardinia, this beach offered waves, attracting a few surfers. Surroundings were beautiful, there was free parking and a bar. Overall, the beach looked very much like a beach I would imagine finding in Australia, not Sardinia.
